MosNet Direct/D
MosNet Direct/D provides access to the Internet using an asynchronous dial-up router connected to your Local Area Network:

A dial router connection has the following advantages over a MosNet Remote connection using a modem:

Convenience: Since your entire LAN is connected, everyone on it has immediate access to the Internet for correspondence and research when they need it. There is never a busy signal because your LAN will have a dedicated, password-protected line at MosNet.

Cost Savings: If you have more than three users, MosNet Direct/D is less expensive than individual accounts.

Efficiency: Since only one regular phone line is used for the entire LAN, there is no need to buy each user a modem, or have them tie-up phone lines using them.

Dedicated Dial-up Requirements

  • A Local Area Network (LAN)
  • TCP/IP software
  • Modem and Telephone line
