B. Step by Step Dialup Reference

A. Dial-up Connection for Windows 95/98

1. On your desktop screen double click on the "My Computer" icon.
2. Inside the "My Computer" window, double click on "Dial-up Networking"
3. Once inside the Dial-up Networking folder, double click on the "Make New Connection" icon. Type in "Basic". This will be the name of your dialer.
4. Supply this data:, click Next >, then click Finish.

Dial-up Number

   Digitel: 700-8000 (90 x 56K lines)

5. Right click on the "Basic" icon, and then choose "Properties".
6. Uncheck "Use area code and Dialing Properties".
7. On the index tab on top, click on "Server Types".
8. Uncheck all options except "Enable Software Compression" and "TCP/IP", then click "TCP/IP Settings"

Check "Server Assigned IP Address" and "Specify name Server Address"
Supply this Data to "Specify Name Server Address"
Primary DNS: 202.91.168.1

9. Right click "Basic" icon and choose "Create Shortcut" to place a Basic Connection icon on your desktop.
10. Close Dial-up Networking window.

B. Dial-up Connection for Windows 2000

1. Click Windows "Start" button, go to "Settings" and choose "Network and Dial-up Connections"
2. Once inside the Dial-up Networking folder, double click on the "Make New Connection", click Next >
3. On the "Network Connection Type" select "Dial to the Internet", click Next >
4. The Internet Connection Wizard will appear, choose "I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through LAN" and then click Next >
5. On the "Setting up your Internet Connection" screen, select "I Connect through a phone line and modem" then click Next >
6. Specify the name of your modem then click Next >
7. On the "Internet Account Connection Information" screen, uncheck "Use area code and dialing rules" and place our "Dial-up Number" then click "Advanced…" button.

8. On the "Advanced Connection Properties" screen, click "Addresses"
9. On the "DNS Server Address", choose "Always use the following:" then Supply the following Data below then click OK
Primary DNS: 202.91.168.1

10. On the "Internet Account Login Information", supply your User Name and Password as indicated in the back of your Internet Prepaid Card then click Next >
11. In the "Connection Name", type "Basic" then click Next
12. On the "Setup your Internet Mail Account" screen, choose No then click Next > and then click Finish.
13. Right click "Basic" icon and choose "Create Shortcut" to place a Basic connection icon on your desktop.
14. Close Network and Dial-up Connections window.

C. Dial-up Connection for Windows ME

1. Click Windows "Start Menu", go to "Settings" and choose "Dial-up Networking"
2. Once inside the Dial-up Networking folder, double click on the "Make New Connection" Type in "Basic". This will be the name of your dialer, click Next >
3. Supply this data:, click Next >, then click Finish.

4. Right click on the "Basic" icon, and then choose "Properties'.
5. Uncheck "Use area code and Dialing Properties".
6. On the index tab on top, lick on "Server Types".

8. Click OK then on the index tab, click "Security"
9. Uncheck "Log on to Network" then click OK
10. On the index tab, click "Scripting"
11. Check "Start Terminal Screen Minimized" then click OK
12. On the index tab, click "Dialing"
13. Check "This is the Default Internet Connection", select "Never Dial a Connection" then click OK
14. Right click "Basic" icon and choose "Create Shortcut" to place a Basic Internet Connection icon on your desktop.
15. Close Dial-up Networking window.

D. Dial-up Connection for Windows XP

1. Click Windows "Start" button, go to "Settings" and choose "Control Panel"
2. Once inside the Control Panel, double click on "Network Connection Type" and select "Connect to the Internet", click Next >
3. Select "Setup Connection Manually", click Next >
4. Select "Connect using a Dial-up Modem" and then click Next>
5. In the "Connection Name" type "Basic" then click Next >
6. The "Phone number to Dial"

7. Leave blank for a while the fields, Username, Password, Confirm Password. Click Next >
8. Check "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop"; click Finish >
9. The Dial-Up Window will automatically appear on your screen; click "Properties"
10. Select the folder "Networking" and inside this folder double click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" to activate its properties
11. Check "Use the following DNS server address"
Preferred DNS: 202.91.168.1

Click OK >
12. Close Network Connection Window

C. Setup Browser Proxy

Internet Explorer 4.x
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click "View " then choose "Internet Options"
3. Go to the Connection Settings, then check "Access the Internet using Proxy Server" then click "Advance" button
4. Supply the following Data:
Address: 202.91.168.8 Port: 8088
Check "Use the same proxy server for all protocols"
5. Click OK for all windows.

Internet Explorer 5.x and 6.x
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click "Tools" then choose "Internet Options"
3. Go to the Connection Settings, click Basic connection, then "Settings" then check "Use Automatic configuration script"
4. Supply the following Data:
Address: 202.91.168.8 Port:8088
Uncheck "automatically detect settings" & "Use proxy server"
5. Click OK .

Netscape Browser
1. Open Netscape Navigator.
2. Click "Edit" then choose "Preferences"
3. Click "Advance Menu" then choose "Proxies"
4. Check "Manual Proxy Configuration" then click "View"
5. Supply the following Data:
Address: 202.91.168.8 Port: 8088

D. How to Connect to Basic Internet

1. Double Click "Basic" icon on your desktop.
2. Type in the User Name + @mozcom.com and Password as indicated in the card, and then click "Connect".
3. A small window will appear displaying the status of the connections; If the connection is successful, you will see a Connected at… message showing your connected speed.
