:: Member and Officers Orientation - 7/29/2007
The La Union (Host) and LD Lions Clubs conducted a Member and Officers Orientation at the LaFrankie residence in Brgy. Baroro, Bacnotan, La Union. In the afternoon, Lion Mario guided members in conducting SWOT analysis of the 2 clubs and to establish the club's medium term plan. Kudos to MERL Team chairman VDG Mario Zamoranos and members PVDG Adolf Paragas, President Robert Ranchez, IPP Danny De Guzman, PDG Jeanny Hao for a very successful activity.

:: USec Puruganan speaks before Lions - 7/26/2007
Former UnderSecretary Abraham A. Puruganan was invited as Guest of Honor and Speaker during the 2nd Joint Membership Meeting of the La Union (Host) and LD Lions Clubs. During his speech, he stressed the need for Filipinos to strengthen their love for country and patriotism so we can rise from the ashes.

:: Book Donation at Masicong Elementary School - 7/24/2007
The La Union Host Lions Club and La Union LD Lions Club donated around 400 books at Masicong Elementary School, San Fernando City, La Union last July 24, 2007 thanks to our very generous VDG Mario Zamoranos.

:: 1st Joint Membership Meeting - 7/12/2007
Lion Vice Governor Larena Yee of District 301-A2 of the Makati Golden Lions Club was invited to speak during our First Joint Membership Meeting. She shared their clubs secret formula in recruiting and retaining quality members. Their club has been very sucessful in their growing their club to over 100 members.

:: 18th Joint Membership Meeting - 6/28/2007
Environmentalist James Vincent LaFrankie was invited as the Guest of Honor and Speaker during our 18th Joint Membership Meeting. He showed us a Power Point presentation of his work and explained in layman's language the effects on the Earth's ecosystem when we burn fossil fuels like oil.

:: 17th Joint Membership Meeting - 6/14/2007
Dra. Marjorie G. Pudin was invited to speak during our 17th Joint Membership Meeting at United Food Palace.

:: Lions Environmental Photo Contest held - 12/26/2006
The La Union (Host) Lions Clubs held this year's Lions Environmental Photo Contest at the Gifted Learning Center, SFLU. The winning entry is from Lion Mario Zamoranos.

:: 56th Anniversary, Xmas Party & Ladies Night - 12/16/2006
The La Union (Host) Lions Club celebrated its 56th Anniversary, Joint Christmas Party & Ladies Night with the La Union LD Lions Club. PP Adolf Paragas narrated a short history of the Club and a list of the Club's leaders since the beginning, followed by blowing of the candle. LD Lions led by Lion Maan Chan & IPP Eileen Chan rendered a Hawaiian Dance. The night was filled with fun and games.

:: Club attends Baguio City Host Anniversary - 11/19/2006
The La Union (Host) Lions Club lead by President Danny De Guzman attended the 56th Charter Anniversary of the Baguio City (Host) Lions Club. The Guest of Honor and Speaker was Architect Joseph Alabanza, Chairman of the Baguio Centennial Anniversary. He highligthed the colorful history of the City of Pines and the preparation being done by the Centennial Committee and appealed to all Lions to support and be part of the celebration.

The La Union (Host) and LD Lions Clubs conducted its 6th Joint memebership Meeting at the United Food Palace. Our Guest of Honor and Speaker was Maam Eileen B. Sison, Executive Director of the Institute for the Development of Educational and Ecological Alternatives (IDEAS-NGO).

:: Kindasan Lions Induction Program - 11/11/2006
Kindasan Lions held its Induction Program with the theme... "Kindasan Idol". Members lead by President Emily Gacad were inducted to office by Gov. Jeanny Hao.
