I. PRESIDENTIAL PLATINUM AWARDS
– member ranks among the top 10 in club points in all the Avenues of Service.

F. ALBERT DY- Ex-Officio Board Director/ Attendance Committee Chair

II. PRESIDENTIAL GOLD AWARDS
-member does not qualify for Presidential Platinum but has made exemplary contribution to an Avenue (s) of Service as attested to by the involved Avenue Director and the Club President.

	A. EDWARD GAERLAN- outstanding work in Club Service showing creativity in 	the planning and implementation of the 41st Club Anniversary, Club Christmas 	Party and Club Valentine’s Party.

	B. CES MENDOZA – significant contribution to Community Service by being the 	chief author of two Matching Grants which provided 42 artesian wells to areas 	where they are needed in the Province of La Union, this Rotary Year.

	C. REGINALD CHAN – outstanding work in Vocational Service during the plan	ning and implementation of several Career Development Projects aside from 	work as Auditor of the Club and Valentine’s Party Chair.

	D. RUFINO MACAGBA JR. – outstanding work in International Service for obtain	ing for the Club a large 3-H Grant (the largest in the history of District 3790) for 	the setting up of a Medical Equipment Training School and also for instrument in 	obtaining three (3) “Paul Harris“ Donations.

	E. FRANK BUENAVENTURA – outstanding work in Youth Service as Rotaract- 	Interact Chairman, aside from his work as Asst. Secretary, Documentation Com	mittee Chair and Rotary Information Chair.

       Our meeting last week started at 12:40 p.m. Day Chairman and Master of Ceremonies was yours truly. Rtn. HARVEY Tan led the Prayer and 4 Way Test and the Pambansang Awit.

       While enjoying lunch and fellowship, PVP Arnold Ignacio who also needed to be welcomed back gave the Welcome and Greetings. Having announced Rtn. Ninoy Gazmen as birthday celebrant, we got a 2 scoop ice cream treat. 

       Accomplishment Reports were given by Dir. JERRY Parlan for Club Service, Dir. and PE RICHARD Dy for Vocational Service and A/Sec. FRANK Buenaventura for Youth Service. It was suggested that Friendship Session be cancelled since the program was taking very long, so I skipped it but unintentionally went beyond and forgot to call Pres. JEROME for the President’s Time. My sincerest apologies, Mr. President.

       PP ANDY Astom came up and effectively introduced our Guest of Honor and Speaker Mr. Edwin Joseph Edralin, Officer-in-Charge of the Dept. of Foreign Affairs, RCO La Union. Briefly, our speaker shared his passion for art, specifically painting. 

       Response was given by PP FERDINAND Fernandez. The meeting was adjourned.
