rst of all, I would like to make a correction to the previous week's TTW. PP DAN is the incumbent President of the Rural Bankers Association of La Union (not the Philippines). The 50,000 pesos donation to the Rotary PDG Rudy Nisce Foundation came from the said organization.

Now back to the current business. The regular meeting of RCSFU was called to order at 12:25 (my time) as our Day Chairman and Master of Ceremonies, PP SILVER asked Pres. ALBERT to ring the bell and get the ball rolling. Everyone (including yours truly) was impressed by the mini sermon that Rtn. BONG preached during the opening prayer. I am sure that he missed his calling and should have been a Priest or a Minister. PP IVES "filled in" with the Pambansang Awit.
After a short luncheon period it was Rtn. ALLAN A. (who some say sounds like Rtn. BONG), officially welcomed our Guests and greeted our Celebrants. The day's celebrants were Myla (wife of IPP FERDINAND) and Mayor Mary Jane (wife of Rtn. VIC) and Rtn. NINOY celebrating birthdays. YOURS TRULY and his beautiful wife Paula were celebrating their 28th wedding anniversary. Congratulations to all and thanks for the ice cream. We needed that...

PP ANDY "filled in" for the Friendship Session. PP ANDY is always good about "filling in" wherever there is a need. Pres. ALBERT always has informative insights to share during his President's Time. Rtn. DIEGO surprised everyone with a special song (solo) before calling up Rtns. ALLAN S. and ERNIE, PPs FERDINAND and IVES to lead us in group singing. Surprisingly, it turned out fairly good.

It was none other than PP "Kumander" KIT, who, because of his military expertise, was called upon to introduce our Guest of Honor and Speaker, ATTY. MARIO R. SANDIEGO, Police Superintendent, Regional Officer, Criminal Investigation & Detection Group. Atty. Sandiego did not come with a prepared speech but did a wonderful job speaking from his heart concerning the troubles within and without the Police organization. It seems like we have had a lot of military men speak at our meeting over the last couple of months. Maybe we need this to emphasize the good job these men do for us on a daily basis.

After a very productive open forum, PP DAN "filled in" with an appropriate response. The meeting was adjourned at 1:55 P.M.
