seems like it has been some time since I last wrote this article.  We have made several out of town trips and with the special Club Anniversary meeting and the Holiday, there has just been no time to write.  Oh well, I am "back in the saddle" now, or at least temporarily.  The day's meeting was the last Club Assembly for this calendar year.  Our Club Secretary was the Day Chairman and Master of Ceremonies.  Sec. TONY asked Pres. ALBERT to call the meeting to order at precisely 12:30, even though at that time very few Rotarians had actually arrived.  I congratulate Sec. TONY and Pres. ALBERT for starting the meeting on time, no matter who is there or not.  Two of our "young" Rotarians led us in the Prayer & 4-Way Test and Pambansang Awit; Rtn. ALLAN SY and Rtn. DIEGO LEDDA, respectively.  And both did an excellent job.  Another "young" Rotarian, Rtn. REGGIE TAN, did a wonderful job with the Welcome and Greetings considering it was his first time at this particular task.  He got some good coaching from the "Master", Sec. TONY.  PP MARC and SUSAN PRIETO celebrated their wedding anniversary; and PP MARC was re-admitted back into the Club.  So.........we got a "double"  scoop of ice cream, thanks to PP MARC.

Sec. TONY gave his Secretary's Report and Pres. ALBERT has his President's Time.  Each one brought us up-to-date on the latest happening in our Club and some future events to look forward to.  Each week our Friendship Sessions are getting better and better as the Fine Masters devise innovative ways to extract money from Club members.  And this is just what "young" Rotarian, Rtn. ALLAN ALVAREZ, did for the day's Friendship Session.  We played the "Rotary Game", as Rtn. ALLAN called it.  Some won and some lost, but....all had a good time.

In the Club Assembly, the Four Avenues of Service were represented by their various Directors; namely;
Club Service  - Dir. ALI MORALES
Community Service - VP ARNOLD IGNACIO ( stood in for  DIR REX )
Vocational Service - Dir. JEROME GAERLAN
International Service - Dir. RICHARD DY

As to be excepted, all the Speakers did an excellent job bringing us up-to-date on the progress and accomplishments of their various Avenues of Service.
The meeting was adjourned shortly before 2:00 P.M.
