Organized
and hosted by the FUN CYCLING CLUB of the City of San Fernando.
The annual MTB Race is held every 1st week or 2nd week of February of the year in the
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, La Union,
Northern Philippines during the City's Celebration of Fiesta in honor of San Fernando's Patron Saint, ST. WILLIAM THE HERMIT.
The
City Government of San Fernando City headed by HON. MARY JANE C. ORTEGA, the
Provincial Government of La Union headed by HON. VICTOR C. ORTEGA ,VALERO Group
of Companies headed by HON. BERNARDO VALERO, YMCA and the Department of Tourism
Region 1 headed by Mr. Ernesto Malay, Jr. fully support the BTD Series.

DOWNHILL EVENT
- The
COURSE is a 1-kilometer Technical Down Hill on a cliffy-man-only-single-track-
road and farmlands with ruts, roots, rocks, bottomless dust, loose gravel,
multiple drops and jumps, killer switchbacks with short and long steep dicey
descents with a little emphasis on pedaling.
- Starts at 8:00 HOURS

beginner riders with hard tail or full suspension bike

Novice
Category:
professional riders who have joined previous downhill competitions.

CROSS COUNTRY EVENT

Cross Country event is a 40-kilometer distance for the Team, Executives
A & B, 80 kilograms and above, Sports and BMX categories. A 12-kilometer
distance covers the Women’s category. The race routes are rolling dirt roads,
forest tracks and farmlands with loose soil, bottomless dust, rocky sections
and switchbacks, steep ascents and descents with ruts, roots and single tracks.
Thirty percent (30%) of the total racecourses are paved roads.
